According to the the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, supply of the equipment for coronavirus express tests is due to arrive in the republic today, as was reported at a meeting of the Headquarters under the President for prevention and prohibition of the virus spread.
Medical equipment will be transferred to hospitals in Dnestrovsk, Slobodzeya, Grigoriopol, Dubossary, Rybnitsa and Kamenka.
The devices will also go to the Republican Hospital for the Disabled of the Great Patriotic War, the Republican Clinical Hospital, in the child guidance and family counselling centers of Tiraspol and Bendery, the Bendery city hospital, as well as Tiraspol and Bendery outpatient care centers.
In addition, two ambulance crews will be formed and equipped with these analyzers in Tiraspol and Bendery. They will include trained laboratory assistants who will be able to test citizens at home.
During the meeting of the Headquarters, the President set a target of ensuring the availability of medicines for the treatment of 1000 patients with severe forms of COVID-19. Their cost is high. Dedicated entities seek the most affordable, most effective options. Local entrepreneurs are also helping.
