Vadim Krasnoselsky in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus raised the issue of raising the level of qualifications of the personnel of coronavirus hospitals. The Health Minister and the Head physician of the central Slobodzeya COVID Center were instructed to organize online training for doctors of medical institutions of this profile. It is necessary to form a cycle of thematic lectures in the areas - diagnosis of coronavirus, treatment depending on the form of the course of the disease, the severity of the condition and the patient's age, the presence of concomitant diseases, etc. Igor Tostanovskiy will act as the project manager and main lecturer, as the most experienced and successfully proven physician and Head of the infectious diseases hospital.
Coronavirus situation in educational institutions was discussed in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the fact that 10% of the carriers of the virus identified the day before are children. Ten school classes and a group of kindergartens were quarantined during four days in Tiraspol. Totally, 18 classes in various schools were transferred to remote districts in the capital, the Moldovan lyceum is in quarantine, the admission of pupils in 14 groups of preschool educational institutions has been suspended. All new classes in other cities are being transferred to distance learning. The educational sphere of Kamenka is still withstanding the onslaught of the coronavirus, but if we talk about the district, the village school in the village of Khrustovaya operates on a remote basis.
The President called for special care to monitor the safety of children, as the virus mutates and the age of those susceptible to infection decreases. One-and-a-half-month baby, infected from mother is being treated in one of the Pridnestrovian hospitals. The area of the lesion of the lung tissue is very large. At the same time, a special approach is needed to treat such young patients, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized. Returning to the topic of organizing a safe learning process, the President once again reminded of the inadmissibility of increasing the number of lessons, the functioning of extended day groups, holding additional classes, as well as any kind of meetings. During the vacation period, teachers are advised to minimize their presence in school premises.
The President asked about progress in providing classes with bactericidal air recirculators. According to the Chairman of the Government, a trial batch of locally produced equipment installed in some classrooms of a number of educational institutions caused a number of complaints from users. Educators and students report that the equipment is noisy. Alexander Martynov said that the manufacturer will be tasked with eliminating imperfections. Only in this case, air purifiers will be put into mass production for the needs of the educational system of the republic. In parallel, the President instructed the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, which issued a certificate of conformity for this type of equipment, to check specific units installed in schools, to find out the nature of the origin of the odor and the level of noise produced by recirculators. If the technique is unsafe or ineffective, preference will be given to imported counterparts, also tested in schools and positively proven.
Vadim Krasnoselsky was also interested in the provision of schools of the republic with computer equipment necessary for the full organization of distance learning. Alexander Martynov said that 95% of Pridnestrovian schools are provided with fiber optic and specialized sockets. Delivery of 500 computers is expected within a week and a half, which will be distributed among urban and rural schools. The second batch - 1500 units of equipment - should arrive in Pridnestrovie by the end of November.
It was reported in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters, that they are expecting during the day the supply of equipment to the republic for conducting expert tests for coronavirus. In addition, they talked about purchasing medications. The President has set the task of ensuring the availability of medicines for the treatment of 1000 patients with severe COVID-19. Their cost is high. Profile structures seek the most affordable, most effective options. Local entrepreneurs are also helping.
