Ministry of Health will prepare a detailed plan of the palliative care center

The commission led by the Minister of Health inspected the building of future medical facility in Kitskany

Slobodzeya district, August 3 ./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Minister of Health Christina Albul and her deputy Tatyana Cholak, deputy of the Supreme Council Igor Yarych and representatives of the Pridnestrovian Design Institute State Enterprise visited the empty building supposed to place a palliative care center in Kitskany again.

The Ministry of Health has already prepared its general concept. A detailed plan will be developed together with specialists.

''According to preliminary calculations, the center will be able to host up to 100 patients. So, there should be comfortable rooms for patients, procedural rooms, bathrooms, and restrooms,'' Christina Albul said.

The commission evaluated the building from the inside out, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports. Its layout is generally consistent with the plans. There are compact rooms forwards and more spacious rooms. On the second floor you can arrange a cozy hall with panoramic windows that overlook the Noul Neamț Monastery.

Following the meeting, the Pridnestrovian Design Institute will study the existing documentation for the building and will prepare a draft of the proposed palliative care center. This object may be included in the Capital Investment Fund program for 2021.

Recall that an empty building located near the monastery. Its was originally built as a hospital. It has gas, water, and an autonomous boiler room. Specialists are studying the possibility of organizing a hospital at this place for palliative treatment of patients at the final stages of cancer.
