The President continues to inspect cities and regions of the republic. Detour of a number of socially significant objects of the city of Bendery is in today's working schedule of the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky is accompanied by the Head of the local administration Roman Ivanchenko. Institutions that are within eyesight of the President have different jurisdictions. The PMR Minister of Defense Oleg Obruchkov and his deputy Oleg Ignat welcomed the Commander-in-Chief of the PMR Armed Forces at the training center of the Ministry of Defense. New automobile garage boxes for automobile equipment were built on the territory of the military town, a soldier’s canteen was renovated for half a century. Heating, water supply and electricity supply systems are changed in nutrition department, the sewer network is being updated, and the premises are being renovated. Work begun in the spring is expected to be completed by autumn. In the near future they plan to equip a new tactical field for practical training of military personnel. The unit commander told the President that in the future they want to equip an assembly hall in the walls of the former library.
The interlocutors noted that the army infrastructure has not experienced such attention as recently, over all the years of the modern history of Pridnestrovie. Not only the conditions of service are changing for the better, but also the system, principles of organization and the attitude of society to the army. Feeling the support of the state, the Ministry of Defense is implementing many projects on its own, including with the advent of the state program of the fund of capital investmen, the scope of repair work on the facilities of the capital Region has become much wider, said Oleg Obruchkov. The military town in Bendery was visited by the President, just one of many examples.
Vadim Krasnoselsky is a frequent guest of festive events held at the institution administered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but representing an educational sphere, is the Republican Cadet Corps named after His Grace Prince G. A. Potemkin-Tauride. Today's visit is an inspection visit. The President checked how repair and construction work is progressing. Despite the justified pandemic, the need to reduce government spending this year by means of fund of capital investments, the cadet corps, at the insistence of Vadim Krasnoselsky, was left in the capital investment program for the current year. 4.5 million rubles were allocated. The external heating main is changed to underground, the boiler room equipment is updated, the heating system and bathrooms are being repaired. The plans include replacing the window blocks of the sleeping building. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that this object has long required attention. Considering that the pupils spend a lot of time here (the institution involves a round-the-clock stay), the creation of comfortable and, most importantly, safe conditions is a socially significant task. Over the 18 years of its existence, the institution has trained more than four hundred cadets. Boys from 5th to 11th grade are taught here. This year they will hold the first competitive recruitment of eight-graders, the Head of the educational institution Nikolay Ganevich told the President. In this connection, the PMR Interior Minister Ruslan Mova noted that the innovation requires the creation of additional conditions: by September 1, girls’s hygiene facilities will be improved in one of the buildings of the educational institution for twenty young pupils of the institution. As for classrooms, they will start redecorating them at the end of the already announced work. The floors in the classrooms require special attention: wooden, covered with several layers of paint, they have long become obsolete; the coating will be replaced with a more modern one. They talked during the inspection tour about the territory of the institution and about the upcoming improvement of the courtyard, tiling it with tiles, landscaping.
Another object that the President visited accompanied by the PMR Interior Minister Ruslan Mova is a two-story building in Timiryazev Street. Previously, there was a fire station. After repair work, there was an offer to give one floor under for Interdistrict Registration-Examinational Office, and the second to the emergency rescue unit. Possible neighborhood in the corps and administration of the city patrol service is being discussed. The President supported the initiative, noting that the issue of compact and convenient in terms of logistics the location of the departments of the internal affairs bodies was discussed for a long time. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers the proposed option successful.
