Tiraspol, January 17. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The President of the PMR called on the state authorities to take measures to increase the income of researchers with academic degree.
“I see the need to increase material incentives for specialists with an academic degree. It is fair. Now specialists get extra payments, but they are small. If the scientific degree is obtained academically and assigned by the relevant state body, of course, we should consider double or triple it. It is a small amount for the republic, but good support of scientists, significant for the development of science in general,” Vadim Krasnoselsky said.
The Head of the State also instructed to increase the efficiency of the Supreme Advisory Council on Science and Technology under the President. According to him, it is necessary to carry out work on the establishment of the Center for Scientific Activity Management under the Government of the PMR. Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed to give it the powers to monitor the activities of research laboratories and analyze the effectiveness of their execution of state orders.
