The President’s working week was opened by video conference with the Heads of towns and districts of the republic. The Heads informed Vadim Krasnoselsky about the situation on the ground. The interlocutors exchanged views on current issues. They talked about plans not only for the week, but also for the long term. The President recalled that 2020 was declared the Year of Health in Pridnestrovie, emphasizing that state policy will be aimed not only at improving the health situation, but also to a large extent on the adoption of measures that contribute to improving the health of citizens. This concerns development of sports, popularization of healthy lifestyle for population, improving the environmental situation and the quality of nutrition of Pridnestrovians. Speaking about development of mass sports, the President mentioned the Leather Ball tournament, which was resumed last year, which is designed to involve the maximum number of young fans of mini-soccer in the fight for the cup. A new stage of the competition starts in April. Vadim Krasnoselsky called on the heads to ensure that the children have good conditions for training, and pay attention to the uniform of the teams. The tournament’s finals will be held in the capital on one of the new fields, the President informed, noting that a number of sports fields throughout the republic should increase. He drew attention to the advisability of combining the efforts of the heads and deputies, to whom numerous appeals of citizens with the request to equip a sports facility in a particular microdistrict of the city and in the village are also received as voters' orders.
They spoke in the course of the meeting about plans for holding cultural events in the coming year. The President called for taking this work seriously.
Speaking about places of leisure and recreation, Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the need for improvement of beach areas, urging not to postpone this work until later. He emphasized that in addition to the central beaches, conditions for a comfortable and, most importantly, safe rest should be created in those places that locals have chosen. The President noted that many of these sites near water bodies are used during Orthodox Epiphany Day dunk. The responsibility for their preparation by January 19 rests with the heads of state administrations.
Concluding the video conference, Vadim Krasnoselsky invited the Heads of state administrations to the extended meeting, which is scheduled for January 17. The event is annual. Its purpose is the setting by the President of tasks to the PMR Government and the Supreme Council.
