Tiraspol, December 20. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Polina never dreamed about such a New Year's gift. When a tragedy happened in her life, she was afraid that she would be alone with her misfortune.
Recall: Polina is an orphan and a young mother from Rybnitsa. She works as a cook in a kindergarten and lives with a one-year-old son in a dorm. In November, there was a fire that destroyed almost everything she had: furniture, documents, clothes.
When Yaroslav Volkov, a builder and father of large family from Tiraspol knew about the tragedy, he decided to help her. He started to make repairs for free. Dozens of caring people joined Yaroslav, they helped as much as they could, someone transferred money. Building materials were provided free of charge by companies selling building materials.
Repair in Polina’s room began in early December, and today the woman was able to return to her restored room.
“We have completed the repair, bought the necessary furniture. We hung the curtains, installed and decorated Christmas tree. Under the tree, there were gifts for children from Santa Claus were left. I saw joy and happiness in Polina’s eyes. I want to thank all the people who responded to my request to help Polina. I believe that much can be done by joining together!” Yaroslav Volkov said.
Polina and her son will celebrate the New Year in their cozy home.
