Tiraspol, November 29./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The work of the State Guarantees Program in the sphere of health care of Pridnestrovie was discussed at the First Medical Forum. The First Deputy Minister of Health Care of the PMR Evgenii Kalalb became the main speaker of this section. Speaking about the State Guarantees Program, he noted that it was a document that regulates levels, forms, volumes, the procedure of medical care in the medical institutions. Evgenii Kalalb said that some changes were planned in the program.
“We want to make a number of changes in this program: to make concepts of urgent, planned and emergency medical service. We also want to regulate the time of medical service. As guidelines we took a number of regions of the Russian Federation, discussed with our specialists how these standards are feasible in Pridnestrovie”, the First Deputy Minister of Health Care of the PMR shared.
In his opinion, the introduction of waiting periods for medical care in the program will benefit doctors and patients. Doctors will know what specific care each patient needs, and people will know the time it takes to receive medical care.
During the discussion, issues related to public-targeted programmes in the field of health care were discussed. Eugene Kalalb said that in 2020 it was planned to increase funding for some of them.
“Funding for the prevention of HIV infections and AIDS will increase by 50%, and the treatment of tuberculosis will be allocated by 20% more. As for the program of immunization of the population, it will be financed twice more”, he said.
In addition, a program for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases is under development. A program to prevent and treat hepatitis B, C and D have also been developed. It is now under negotiation.
