Tiraspol, November 26./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the Department of Nature of the Tiraspol United Museum, a special show of two postal editions was held. Two series of stamps were presented to the public. One of them is dedicated to the Year of Ecology and Improvement.
"There are two stamps reflected both ecology and improvement. The stamp dedicated to the improvement shows Alexander Nevsky Park, located in the Bendery Fortress. On the brand dedicated to ecology – fish jumping out of the Dniester", the director of the Stamp of Pridnestrovie State Publishing House,Vsevolod Lavrentiev told.
This is the second such thematic series of stamps. In 2018, in honour of the Year of Equal Opportunities, Paraiypmic athlets were depicted on it. In 2020, the series will be dedicated to the Year of Health.
It was also presented a series dedicated to Churches. It has been produced for the fifth year, and this time it is dedicated to Chapels.
"On the stamps fare depicted the Royal Pastoralists Chapel, located in the Alexander Nevsky Park in the Bendery Fortress, the Troeruchitsa Chapel, named after the icon of the Mother of God and located in the centre of Grigoriopol and the Skoroposlushnitsa Chapel located in Stroiești. The envelope also shows the Chapel named after Georgy the Victorious, which stands in the centre of Tiraspol", explained Vsevolod Lavrentiev.
