This year the Dubossary comprehensive school number 4 was repaired with funds from the Capital Investment Fund. The President inspected the facility and talked to the management and staff of the educational institution in Dubossary. Today, under the guidance of 46 educators, more than five hundred people gain knowledge here. They told Vadim Krasnoselsky that thanks to the state program, the conditions for students and teachers to stay in the school are noticeably improved: the window units in the assembly hall, dining room and workshops were replaced, emergency staircase was replaced with a new, entrance group was put in order. The school yard and paths are completely paved with paving slabs with municipal money. The economical spending of funds made it possible to purchase new equipment for the catering department. The ventilation system needs to be replaced, said Vadim Krasnoselsky, inspecting the school premises. He drew attention to non-standard design. It turned out that the authors and executors of design decisions are teachers and students of the school.
Having examined the updated building and renovated premises of the educational institution, Vadim Krasnoselsky went to a nearby table tennis school. The road to it was brought into proper shape thanks to the Investment Program, the mayor said.
Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Dubossary is an institution of republican significance. It was created almost 36 years ago, all these years the school of tennis is headed by Valery Grosul. He told Vadim Krasnoselsky that today, 16 trainers-educators are involved in the sports education of almost five hundred children, all of whom are pupils of the State Educational Establishment. The President was shown the equipment of the sports school. The complex is equipped in accordance with international standards and requirements. The air-conditioned room has a dozen tennis tables, fitness equipment and robotics. Approximately forty people are engaged coincidently. The school has a rehabilitation center, which includes an indoor swimming pool, massage room, showers, sauna. The basin bowl appeared this year. The project was implemented on their own and means. Water lessons are held for each group at least once a week. A hotel with 25 beds is provided for participants in international sports gatherings and competitions. This week, the Dubossary School of Sports and Youth organized an international festival, which was attended by more than two hundred athletes from seven countries. There are three age groups. Residents of Dubossary are among the champions. This Saturday, the PMR table tennis championship will be held at the Dubossary school. There are many plans, not only sports, but also related to the improvement of the school. The primary task is to replace window blocks and repair the roof. Taking into consideration the social significance of the sports school, Vadim Krasnoselsky considers it appropriate to include this object in the Capital Investment Program. It was discussed that windows and roofing should be renewed at the expense of the Fund in 2020.
Children with special needs have the opportunity to attend classes in the training room of the school of table tennis. Four of them were sent to the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Dubossary through a specialized center. Vadim Krasnoselsky pays special attention to this institution and has more than once communicated with the management, staff, pupils and their parents. The visit to the public institution “Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children with Life Support” is included in the program of today's presidential visit to Dubossary district.
The center has existed for 13 years. It is designed for full-time (nine-hour five-day stay) children and young people aged three to twenty three. Today, these are 33 people who are diagnosed with organic brain damage, autism, epilepsy, genetic abnormalities, mental retardation, and musculoskeletal disorders. The services of the rehabilitation center are used not only by residents of Dubossary, but also of Grigoriopol district. Specialists conduct educational, psychological, medical events here. The main task is the maximum socialization of students. They are not only trained, but also contribute to creative development and self-expression. There is a theater studio and a cynological section. The institution is still located in a small two-story building, but since 2018, work has been ongoing on the construction of a new spacious building. Funds for the implementation of a large-scale socially significant project are allocated under the Capital Investment Program. Almost 12 million rubles for two years. In 2020, it is planned to allocate another 6.8 million from the state fund. After inspecting the construction site, Vadim Krasnoselsky talked with representatives of contracting organizations, aiming at efficient and high-quality execution of work, as well as with the management, teachers and pupils of the center, assuring that it was not long to wait for a housewarming.
