The ceremony of presenting state awards to outstanding citizens of the republic, dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the PMR, was held in the small hall of the Palace of the Republic. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky notes: “You work, serve, and benefit the Pridnestrovian people and the Pridnestrovian state”.
In the course of his speech, the President recalled at what time and in which historical circumstances, republic had arisen and the Pridnestrovian state power was emerging.
Vadim Krasnoselsky also recalled that in the early 90s, the young Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic had to survive the aggression from Moldova, conclusions about the consequences of which in the neighboring state have not yet been made.
Almost a hundred worthy representatives of the Pridnestrovian society received awards and documents on conferring honorary titles from the hands of the heads of state, legislative and executive authorities.
