Tiraspol, August, 8. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, the President discussed with the heads of state administrations the condition of rural culture houses. Some of these objects when visiting the settlements by the head of state were taken under personal control.
Vadim Krasnoselski brought a recreation center in Malaeshti of the Grigoriopol district as an example. As the head of state noted, the building itself was an example of Soviet architecture, which could not be said about the interior.
“Ten creative teams work there. In winter, the temperature inside reaches minus ten. But the children still want to go there,” the President said.
He added that he asked about when that house of culture had lost heating. It turned out that the pipe burst in 1987. Vadim Krasnoselski added that there were many objects with similar problems in the republic.
The head of the state administration of the Grigoriopol district Oleg Gabuzha said that the repair project had been developed, and the contractor had already begun to implement it. This year it is planned to repair the roof. The heat supply to Malaeshti House of Culture will be restored next year.
Vadim Krasnoselski instructed the heads of state administrations to compile a list of those most in need of repair of rural cultural objects. “Leave the village without its cultural center - and there will no village at all,” the President concluded.
