Tiraspol, June, 29. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Mediators and observers in the negotiation process of the “5 + 2” format plan to visit Chisinau and Tiraspol on July 12. As the Head of the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry, Vitaly Ignatiev, noted in an interview with the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel, the other day, confirmation has been received of the upcoming visit.
After consultations, preparations will begin for the next round of negotiations in the “5 + 2” format. It should be recalled the last time the meeting of the "Permanent Conference ..." was held in Rome in May of last year.
The “5 + 2” format has been functioning for more than 17 years. Moldova and Pridnestrovie being parties to the conflict; Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE being mediators; the EU and the USA - observers.
