In the women's race, she took the tenth place, showing the result of 1 hour 13 minutes and 54 seconds. In addition, only two European athletes were able to get into the top ten - eight runners from Kenya and Ethiopia, who are traditionally good at marathon and long distances, took eight places.
Lilia Fiskovich is one of the candidates for the Olympic quota fulfilment. According to the coaching staff, the result shown is quite acceptable: before the race, the athlete had a long preparatory training in the mountains.
The London International Marathon, which will be held in the capital of England on April 28, would be the main start to qualify for the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo for the athlete from Tiraspol.
