BOXER FROM TIRASPOL WON BRONZE AT THE TOURNAMENT IN ANAPA

Vladislav Gudz competed in the weight category of 64 kg

Tiraspol, April, 9. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The XI International Boxing Tournament in memory of Master of Sports of International Grade Nikolai Pavlyukov was being held in the Russian Anapa from April 2 to April 6. 120 young boxers from 13 countries took part in it. Among them there were three Pridnestrovians - students of the Tiraspol wrestling and boxing school.  

The bronze medalist of the European Championship among juniors Vladislav Gudz competed in the weight category of 64 kg. He defeated Ason Kugo from Switzerland and Nick Jakoniy from Georgia. But in the semifinals he lost to the champion of Russia Ahmadshokh Maksmadshoyev, winning a bronze medal. 

Two more athletes from Tiraspol - Artur Solovyov (60 kg) and Vugar Allahverdiyev (69 kg) - lost in the starting fights. 

Note that the referee from Tiraspol Valery Pastukhov was recognized as the best referee of the tournament. He was awarded a diploma and a souvenir Golden Gong.
