BOXER FROM TIRASPOL STANISLAV BONDARENKO BECAME THE CHAMPION OF MOLDOVA

The athlete competed in the weight category up to 49 kilograms

Tiraspol, April, 2. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Last week the Moldavian Boxing Championship was held in the sports complex of the Chisinau University of Physical Culture and Sports. 56 athletes took part in it, including those from Pridnestrovie, according to the website of the State Service for Sport.

The trainee of the Tiraspol sports school of wrestling and boxing Stanislav Bondarenko, competing in the weight category up to 49 kilograms, defeated all competitors and won the gold medal and champion title.

Three more athletes from Tiraspol took third places, losing to their competitors at the semifinal stage: Viktor Vakula (56 kg), Andrei Kiriakov (81 kg) and Igor Radionov (over 91 kg). Konstantin Telpis (up to 56 kg) won the bronze medal to the Bendery’s Boxing School.

Following the results of the championship, the strongest Moldavian boxers will prepare to participate in the Second European Games, which will be held in the last decade of June in Minsk.
