The delegation headed by the President drew attention to the children's art school, inspecting the Dubossary district. The school changed its address five times during its 55-year history. It all started with a room in the semi-basement. Now the institution is located in a three-story building, which corresponds to the functionality of the school, but is in poor condition (for almost forty years the premises knew only cosmetic repairs). The plans for the current year include the replacement of the roof, window and door blocks, as well as the arrangement (perhaps a change of location) of the central entrance to the art school. Vadim Krasnoselsky supported the initiative, noting the importance of bringing to a proper condition of social infrastructure, in particular, educational and cultural institutions.
The leadership of the republic assigns serious importance to the creation of conditions for sports. There is a serious gap in this sector in Dubossary. The city and the region need a full-fledged sports complex. The Dubossary leadership has already thought of its location - next to the existing stadium, which, by the way, also needs financial investments. The Head of Dubossary Ruslan Chaban shared his plans for placing several rooms for gymnastics, tennis and other most popular sports, as well as a 25-meter pool in the future. The preliminary cost of the project is 12 million rubles (excluding work on the unification of the territories of the sports complex and the stadium).
The President, noting the inadmissibility of the absence in the area of a sports facility that would unite people, introducing them to physical culture, sports and a healthy lifestyle, instructed in detail to work out and submit to him the design and estimate documentation. The facility will be proposed for inclusion in the capital investment program of future years. At the same time, the President recalled that it is unacceptable to consider the capital investment fund as a panacea. It is necessary to seek various sources of funding, attracting not only budgetary, but also sponsorship.
The local medical infrastructure is gradually improving. The President is closely following the changes in this area, emphasizing the priority of repair and construction of facilities that medical facilities of the republic need. Attention of Vadim Krasnoselsky was drawn by Dubossary polyclinic. The building is in need of repair. 725 thousand rubles was allocated from the fund of capital investments for roofing work. Next year they expect to repair the premises.
The polyclinic is a structural unit of the Dubossary Central District Hospital. Practically all departments of the hospital need serious financial investments. To date, 11 units and services have been located in its premises, including a day hospital, the President told. The total cost of the reconstruction of the object exceeds 16 million. The building, premises, heating systems, sewage systems, water and electricity supply, as well as road access roads need repairing.
The facility is extremely important for residents of Dubossary, the Head of the district Ruslan Chaban noted. The flow of hospital patients is large: 245,000 visits were recorded in 2018. 129 hospital staff work with those who in need of medical care. The four-storey building of the outpatient polyclinic building has not been repaired since its commissioning in 1973. Not only time, but the tragic events of the early 90s had a negative impact on his condition. During the period of armed conflict, the hospital corpus more than once was in the firing line.
The President recalled that it is healthcare that is in priority today. The capital investment program will continue as long as it is necessary, Vadim Krasnoselsky assured. He emphasized that social infrastructure should be comfortable and safe. The efforts of the state are aimed at this.
