JCC INTENDS TO CONDUCT MONITORING OF THE PEACEKEEPING POSTS

Bendery, March, 14. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the near future, JCC intends to conduct a detour of peacekeeping posts to check their readiness for the spring-summer period. The co-chair of the JCC from Pridnestrovie, Oleg Belyakov told about this in an interview with journalists.

According to him, they also plan to hear information about the criminal situation in the area with high security regime. The heads of units of the operational investigation teams from the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic will be responsible for preparing reports.

During the meeting of the JCC, an assessment of the situation in the Security Zone over the past week was made.

“From the information that was received today at the JCC, we can clearly state that the situation is under control. At the same time, we have the facts of weapons and ammunition seizure. The joint work of law enforcement and peacekeeping operations is quite active. This reduces the risks in the Security Zone, and it is also very important,” Oleg Belyakov said.

The parties continued to discuss issues related to the activities of law enforcement agencies and military commanders.
