Tiraspol, March, 1. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Abkhazia Vito Grittani completed the fact-finding visit to Pridnestrovie. Within two days he held working meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health Care of the PMR, talked to the Pridnestrovian para-athletes and managed to cross the republic from the Kamenka district to Tiraspol. Since 2006Vito Grittani has been the Ambassador at Large of Abkhazia in Italy where he was born. He helped to create the Abkhazia Association which promotes humanitarian programs. Last year on the Apennine Peninsula the Club UNESCO — Sukhum was created. Its first goal is to protect the historical and cultural monuments of Abkhazia. Besides, in Italy «The Abkhazian Dmitry Guli Institute of Culture» was opened.
The Abkhazian Ambassador moves in a wheelchair, therefore, he actively helps physically disabled people and para-athletes. He is also engaged in humanitarian assistance. During the working meeting in the Ministry of Health Care of the PMR Vito Grittani handed over to Pridnestrovie 80 glucose meters – special devices for determination of the amount of sugar in the blood.

The Ambassador also communicated to the Head of the Tiraspol Club of Disabled People «Tiras-Raketa» Dmitry Lavrov, the world-class master of sports on table tennis, the numerous champion of Russia among athletes with violation of the musculoskeletal device. Grittani was interested in hardware or sports club, having promised to provide stock for table tennis.
The diplomat also visited Bendery. There he met the Head of Republican Charity Foundation of the Assistance of Active Rehabilitation and Socialisation of Disabled People with the Defeat of the Musculoskeletal Device «World of Equal Opportunities» Dmitry Kuzuk.
Grittani visited Bendery Center of Adaptive Sport where are engaged pupils of the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children. Here all conditions for the table tennis, archery and the game gaining popularity among para-athletes bochcha are created. According to Kuzuk, all costs on the reconstruction of the Sports Club for People with Disabilities was undertaken by the state.
Vito Grattani is also a member of the welfare institution «Lions Club» in the Italian city Bari therefore in Pridnestrovie he did not miss an opportunity to meet the Tiraspol colleagues.
