Moscow, February, 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The International Digital Forum is being held in the capital of Russia. The event brought together more than 2 thousand participants from 40 regions of Russia and 10 foreign countries. The Pridnestrovian delegation is headed by the Director of the Investment Agency Andrei Betanov.
A member of the RF CCI Committee on economic integration and foreign economic activity, a member of the Harvard Club, a member of Russian intergovernmental commissions Maxim Chereshnev commented on the work of the forum in an interview with Novosti Pridnestrovya.
According to him, the forum covers various areas of digitalization: from medicine and education to industry and “smart cities”.
He emphasized that during the speech of the PMR representatives, proposals had been made about approbation of digital technologies at the site of the republic, which had already been developed and are being developed in Russia.
“The results of the forum will be available in the digital solutions store, which will include all the digital solutions implemented in the regions: functioning of digitalization in the “smart cities”, in industry, what technologies are used by the population and various super-services” - Chereshnev said.
During his conversation with Andrei Betanov, the possibility of holding a similar forum in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was discussed.
“From what I know, the Agency [on investments] is working on the possibility of creating a high-tech Technopark, where these projects will be able to be accommodated and open their branches under a special tax regime, which will create additional technological places for enterprises” - the expert added.
