Tiraspol, February, 20. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Over the past two years, the number of TV and radio programs has increased in the republic, and they are 80 per cent made up of their own material. This was stated today at the first meeting of the State Media Service Board. It noted the participation of journalists in national projects, and also spoke about the innovations in the work of each edition.
Thus, the Pridnestrovie newspaper introduced the Straight Lines of readers with officials, allowing to ask the official any question over the phone. The newspaper was the first to support the Immortal Regiment that took place in Pridnestrovie and launched the project of the newspaper “Afghan - our memory and pain”.
The editorial office of Adevarul Nistrean actively participates in the creation of educational programs in the Moldovan language and the publication of educational literature for schools. The materials of the newspaper are used in the Moldavian language lessons as a practical guide, and the project “History of the Nyamului Nostra” (“History of the Moldavian race”), which is led by history Professor Nikolai Babilunga, plays a huge part in the study of the Moldova history by our readers.
The team of the Gomin newspaper also prints educational, methodological and artistic materials, which are so necessary for schools. Materials from the Dzherelo rubric are actively used in the classroom by the teachers of Ukrainian language and literature, and by kindergarten teachers.
Last year Radio 1 launched a whole line of new projects from short (“Analyze it”, “The Very First”, “Evolution”, “Competent Choice”) to a new two-hour live broadcast - “Day Therapy”. The moderators communicate with psychologists, doctors, experts in the field of tourism, family. They discuss important information for personal development and improving the quality of life. In 2018, radio workers declared themselves on social networks and instant messengers, which helped them get closer to their listeners.
The editorial office of the Novosti Pridnestrovya news agency expanded its presence in social networks. According to the results of the previous year number of our subscribers exceeded 26 thousand people. The last year alone, 19 million visits to various pages were registered on our website. Every day on weekdays the website is being visited on average by 12 thousand people from 135 countries of the world. The top of the most active users of the website includes Russia, Moldova, USA, Ukraine, Belarus.
We have become more active in using short video clips from the scene and photo reports in our materials, editing full-length video clips.
This year, the agency has serious plans, in addition to an increase in the number of reports using media materials, the publication of a historical e-book collection, a multimedia project of excursions in the cities of Pridnestrovie and the Year of Ecology project are planned. There are also Meeting with a Person and HLS projects with stories of outstanding athletes.
In 2017-18 one of the new trends for the First Pridnestrovian state channel was holding of a talk show. In the framework of the programs Question of the Day and Special Conversation various questions are raised, the social significance of a particular topic being the most important thing. The moderators` job is organized taking into account the factor of objectivity and impartiality.
The final program had also changed its format. Every week they discuss what`s important for the republic through live communication in the studio and the introduction of stories on the main directions.
In addition, television launched projects to promote domestic tourism and the history of our region. One of the goals is to interest young people, to show how interesting and multifaceted the history of Pridnestrovie is.
“In solving the posted challenges, the state service relies on the provisions of the Strategy 2019-2026 on the state information policy reflecting national interests in this area. All our activities are aimed at creating a positive image of the republic as a whole. Information support of success and achievements of our people through the media is a priority in the work of all specialists” - Lydia Kolodka, head of the State Media Service said.
The board also summed up the work of the Mark of Pridnestrovie publishing house. Each year it produces about 80 postage stamps with a total circulation of more than 1 million copies. Being attractive to philatelists, they work as a powerful tool for advertising and promoting a positive image of our republic. Each series and each issue is dedicated to one or another important event or project, whether it is the Year of Equal Opportunities or the 100th anniversary of the birth of Solovyova.
Last year Bendery Printing House Polygraphist, being under the jurisdiction of the State Media Service, increased its income from sales of products and services. The State Service together with the company management carried out work with debtors on the repayment of existing debt, which was reduced more than three times.
Polygraphist became the owner of the new equipment for the printed forms manufacture and has already successfully put it into operation. Now the production of printed materials is carried out by new modern technologies.
At this meeting, they also raised issues related to the increase of the journalists` salary, advanced training courses and a number of other issues.
The work of the State Media Service and all subordinate organizations was evaluated by representatives of the authorities - the President, the head of the relevant committee of the Supreme Council and the Deputy Prime Minister.
“The authorities have a huge layer of implemented projects, ideas and proposals, and how correctly they will be interpreted in the press, radio, television and online media will depends on how they are understood by the citizens of our republic” - Deputy Prime Minister Stanislav Kasap stressed the importance of the journalists` work.
The President Vadim Krasnoselski said that last year, the State media had made a big step forward in Pridnestrovie popularization abroad, but journalists would have to step up their efforts to shape the image of the republic.
The head of state urged journalists to pay more attention to stories about Pridnestrovian people. In his opinion, there should be more stories in the media about people working in all spheres of the republic’s life.
“Doctors, police officers, military personnel, border guards, and so on. Especially family, clan labor dynasties. You should popularize it. It is never too much. Show as much as possible the person of work in Pridnestrovie" - Vadim Krasnoselski declared.
The Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy, Igor Buga, believes that every journalist must be a patriot. According to him, one of the main topics for the state media employees should be the patriotic education of the young generation.
The deputy assured that members of the relevant parliamentary committee are ready for continuous constructive cooperation with representatives of the media.
