Bendery, February, 20. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today the new Club of Sports Rehabilitation Invapansport was opened in Bendery on Pervomayskaya Street, 49. The President, the Prime Minister of the PMR, the Speaker of the Supreme Council, the Head of the Bendery State Administration, members of Republican charity foundation of assistance of active rehabilitation and socialization of disabled people with defeat of the musculoskeletal system «World of Equal Opportunities», the citizens of Bendery and city visitors participated in the ceremony, the Presidential Press Service reports.
In 2003 the group of Bendery citizens who are united by a common problem – a violation of the musculoskeletal system initiated the creation of PAN club. Teammates gathered in the small basement. Later representatives of the World of Equal Opportunities Fund appealed to the management of the city about the creation of more comfortable conditions. The room was found, but it demanded serious financial investments. With the assistance of the President and the Government, necessary funds were allocated. The source is the Capital Investments Fund 2018.
Addressing the owners and guests of a celebration who gathered before an entrance to the new centre, Vadim Krasnoselsky told that the tasks connected with the creation of conditions for comfortable stay and socialization of people whose health requires special attention were delivered to them at the beginning of 2017. Made the decision on the announcement of the 2018th Year of equal opportunities later that was an incitement for the start of the process of active integration of disabled people into a life of society in general.
The President is sure that children and adults with various illnesses should not be cut off from the world.
«Study, education, work, leisure – all this has to pass for people with disabilities not in parallel, but together with those who stand on the feet more strong. Game and sports grounds have to be the general, at the same time it is necessary to adapt the social environment, infrastructure for needs of citizens with features of development and the state of health», Vadim Krasnoselsky considers.
«Not only creation of the specialized centres, but also the organization of sports activities is important for disabled people on public platforms – at stadiums, pools, courts», - the President noted.
He expressed gratitude to all who took part in the creation of the complex.
Examining new rooms, Vadim Krasnoselsky paid attention to that fact that an object is thought over not only from the point of view of the organization of sports activities but also concerning the creation of living conditions of comfortable stay of people with disabilities here. Spacious rooms are adapted for special needs of para-athletes, arranged well, equipped with the specialized equipment and stock. The Head of state presented to the center of the conditioner.
Guests were told that if earlier in club two sports – table tennis and powerlifting were cultivated, then now there was an opportunity to be engaged also in darts and archery, to play in a bochcha. The platform is opened not only for people with disabilities of different age but also to join for all comers healthy and to an active lifestyle. In the old room, no more than one and a half tens people systemically trained. The new centre of adaptive sport is capable to accept much more visitors. Today 21 children from among pupils of GU «The Republican Rehabilitation Center for Children of Disabled People» are selected: these are children whose inclinations speak about an opportunity to play sports professionally, on a regular basis, seeking for high Paralympic achievements.
It came about the prospect of expansion of the club. The President charged to study the existing opportunities. By the preliminary estimate of the mayor, there is a probability to double the area. The issue will be handled promptly. Participants of the meeting also said that similar institutions have to appear in all cities and areas of the republic.
