Tiraspol, February, 15. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Starting February 15, the Central Bank will place in circulation commemorative banknotes with the nominal of 1 ruble "30th Anniversary of the Soviet Troops` Withdrawal from Afghanistan".
The commemorative banknote has a format and design similar to that of the 2012 modification. In the right box of the front side there is a red star and a monument to a peacekeeping soldier against a background of mountains, below there is an inscription “30th Anniversary of the Soviet Troops` Withdrawal from Afghanistan”.
The circulation of commemorative banknotes is 1,500 pieces, which are packed in booklets.
PRB commemorative banknotes are legal means of circulation and payment on the territory of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic; they are full legal at face value for all types of payments by all organizations regardless of their form of ownership and business.
