Tiraspol, February 11. / Novosti Pridnestrovya /. The European cup on kickboxing of WACO took place in Croatia (under the auspices of the IOC). Athletes from 29 countries participated in competitions. The Pridnestrovian athletes acted in this tournament under a white-blue flag of public organization «Sports society «Dynamo centre». Following the results of a tournament, the Pridnestrovians have 5 prize-winning places.
Maxim Kazaku from Tiraspol won gold in section K-1 among adult athletes, he acted in weight category up to 60 kg.
The Dubossary athletes – pupils of the City Federation of Kickboxing also muay-melt won three medals – two silver and one bronze.
Alexander Skrob took the 2nd place, acting in section K-1 among adult athletes in weight category up to 63.5 kg. Olga Degot – on the 2nd place in the section kik-light among the cadet, weight category up to 42 kg.
Georgy Pavlov – on the 3rd place in the section kik-light among adults, weight category up to 69 kg.
