Tiraspol, January, 15. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovian leadership plans to complete work on three sites, the construction of which was started through the autonomous non-profit organization Eurasian Integration. The head of state press service reports that this issue is under the personal control of the PMR President.
On his instructions, the Ministry of Economic Development specialists evaluated the degree of readiness of socially significant facilities under construction and the expediency of completing the work begun by the INO Eurasian Integration.
Ivan Untu, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Road Management, informed the head of state about the results of the analysis. Of the 14 objects included in the Russian project, there are 10 of them commissioned. In one case, construction stopped at a zero phase. It does not make sense renewing it.
The readiness of the three other objects is 55-75 per cent. We are talking about the capital pediatric hospital, Bendery tuberculosis clinic and Rybnitsa school number 6. According to Ivan Untu, 203 million Russian rubles (49 million PMR rubles) are needed to complete the work in three positions. The head of the relevant department noted that that amount was half the amount that had been provided for the implementation of the entire scope of work by the Russians.
Noting the social significance of each of the objects, Vadim Krasnoselski recalled that various solutions to this issue were being considered. The most optimal is the introduction of facilities into operation using our own resources and Russian funds (based on the cost calculations determined by Pridnestrovian specialists). Negotiations on this matter with the Russian side are already underway. They will be continued during the upcoming visit of the PMR President to Moscow.
Another important point is financial obligations fulfillment to contracting organizations that had been working in 2013-2017 by order of the INO. The debt is 19 million Russian rubles. Vadim Krasnoselski noted that its repayment is a priority. This amount will also be reflected in the letter of inquiry, which is prepared on the instructions of the PMR President.
