TERMINAL ON PEACEKEEPING POST NUMBER 9 IS IN A DEPLORABLE STATE

The Moldovan delegation in the JCC blocks the replacement of the trailer. Peacekeepers are forced to serve with no light

Tiraspol, December, 13. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A new expert in Moldovan delegation was approved for the position during the Joint Control Commission session. The military reported on the current situation in the Security Zone. The situation is recognized as stable and controlled.

The meeting presented the results of the working group that studied the infrastructure state at the peacekeeping post number 9 (the bridge between Vadul-lui-Voda and Koshnitsa settlements).

Its conclusions were shocking: at the peacekeeping post number 9 (left), there is no access to electricity at all, and the terminal itself is in unsatisfactory condition. Under such circumstances, the peacekeepers are forced to serve in the tripartite post (Russia, Moldova, Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic), which, in the opinion of the Pridnestrovian side, is unacceptable.

“Our requests, justification that it is necessary to take urgent measures and replace the trailer are being blocked by the Moldovan side” - Oleg Belyakov, Co-chairman of the JCC from Pridnestrovie, said in an interview with journalists.

Representatives of Moldova Republic want to resolve the issue in an integrated manner: they insist on the transfer of this post under their control (the 9th left post is in the Pridnestrovian area of responsibility).

Naturally, the Pridnestrovian side is not ready to accept this.

The solution has not been found during the regular meeting. The challenging issue was postponed.
