Bendery, 5 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At today's meeting of JCC the parties have considered organizational issues, the current report on the situation in the Safety zone is taken into consideration too.
"It pleases very much that military forces have come to consensus and have returned to agreement of opinion within preparation of JCC report. And we can note today that the situation in Safety zone remains controlled, operated and peacekeeping forces completely cope with the duties", - the co-chairman of JCC from Transnistria Oleg Belyakov have noted.
Also within the emergency meeting the dialogue about work of posts in connection with opening of the movement along Bychok-Gura-Bykuluy Bridge has been continued. Oleg Belyakov has noticed that the solution of JCC of November 9, 2017 still works: traffic on the bridge is provided. Now experts give an assessment regarding a possibility of opening of the cars movement weighing over 10 tons.
As for staying near the bridge of law enforcement agencies posts, according to the co-chairman, it is impossible to leave this object without control.
"The position of the Pridnestrovian party is unambiguous: within the 574th Protocol on those bridges where the movement of people, transport and freights is carried out, law enforcement agencies posts do function. They function both at Pridnestrovian, and at Moldavian side", - the head of Pridnestrovian delegation has reminded.
The bridge, located on the international track M 14 connecting Brest, Chisinau and Odessa, has been destroyed during the armed aggression of the Republic of Moldova against Pridnestrovie in 1992. In 2001 an object has been restored, however remained closed for the movement of cars because of disagreements between the Moldavian and Pridnestrovian sides on a number of key questions.
The agreement on opening of the bridge has managed to be reached when Vadim Krasnoselsky has directed to participants of negotiation process in the 5+2 format the letter on October 16 with the offers on establishing interaction in transport and customs spheres assuming permission of the cars movement on this object.
The official opening ceremony of the bridge was held on November 18, 2017. The first months it was allowed to pass for cars weighing up to 3,5 tons. On January 31 this year, experts have signed the protocol increasing limit to 10 tons.
