Prime minister: Technical Council should become a platform for communication between citizens with officials

Tiraspol, 22 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The work of the State Supervision Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the PMR was discussed by the government. Particular attention was paid to the work of a new body - the Technical Council.

As we earlier reported, the government discussed the establishment of the Technical Council in early April. Back then the prime minister instructed the State Supervision Agency to systematize violations in the regulations and legislation, as well as conduct seminars on violation prevention.

The head of the State Supervision Agency told that the agency made a report every three months, where it systematizes and analyzes both the revealed shortcomings and the reasons that caused them.

"We had a seminar in the first quarter on World Day for Safety and Health at Work. On April 27, we held a forum conference, attended by representatives of large organizations, entrepreneurs, representatives of state authorities. We highlighted the gravest violations of labour legislation, legislation in the sphere of labour protection; their vision and suggestions were expressed by entrepreneurs, and I think they will be submitted as amendments to legislation," said Natalya Ilyashenko.

In the future, such seminars are planned to be organized once a quarter, the government's press service reports.

The business community also touched upon the issue of reducing the number of inspections. In this regard, according to economic development deputy minister Natalya Sitkina, a draft law has been prepared to adopt a risk-based approach to hazardous production instead of scheduled inspections. Now it is under consideration in the Supreme Council.

Deputy prime minister also added that a law on inspections under state supervision was under consideration as well.

Simplified technical regulations and resolution of specific problems related to their application are among those tasks that should be solved by the Technical Council. A decree on its establishment is awaiting approval from the Ministry of Justice, Stanislav Kasap reported.

According to the prime minister, the new council should become a platform for communication between civil society and officials aimed to generate and express proposals on various aspects of labour protection.

"This is an invitation from the government to a dialogue, to discuss problems," Alexander Martynov summed up.
