Tiraspol, January 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The president of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the deputy of the 5th State Duma of Federal Assembly of Russia, the member of the Foreign Affairs Committee Sergey Zheleznyak and his colleague United Russia party member representing the State Duma Committee for CIS, Eurasian integration and Communications with Compatriots Artem Turov.
As the Presidential Press Service reports, it was talked about equal rights of all citizens of the Russian Federation no matter where in the world they live. Socially important issues were discussed during the meeting. Permanent social activism of Pridnestrovians who participate in all events relating to the Russian realities wasn't also ignored. It was talked about voter turnout: Pridnestrovian votes make a big contribution to the election in Russia.
"This election campaign is important for Russia. We keep a constant liaison with our Pridnestrovian colleagues. There are working consultations. It is important to inform the population that it is necessary to tkae active part in the elections," Sergey Zheleznyak emphasized.
In the face of responsible attitude of people to the performance of civil duties, parliamentarians consider restriction of the rights of the residents of the republic with the Russian passport unacceptable.
The MPs told about the measures aimed to change the situation to the best. Bills of citizenship are considered at the level of committees, concrete proposals concerning using of means of maternity capital for university studies in the PSU and in the affiliated branches of the Russian higher education institutions located in the territory of Pridnestrovie. Also, the initiatives about the medical insurance policies were discussed: Abkhazia was given as an example.
Sergey Zheleznyak recommended to make concrete and precisely formulated proposals. Remembering his experience of communication with the Pridnestrovian colleagues, he noted that the juridical potential of considerable number of the Supreme Council deputies was very high.
Russians also noted positive changes in the Pridnestrovian economy. Discussing financing of the republic's industry and the budgetary help of Russia, the MP Sergey Zheleznyak emphasized that he and his colleagues promoted the positive resolution of these issues.
