Bendery, 12 October. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A meeting of JCC co-chairs with the involvement of senior military commanders, representatives of Ukraine and the OSCE mission was held in Bendery at the suggestion of the Russian side. The parties discussed the nuances of interaction within the Joint Military Command (JMC).

"A lot of issues were raised which could subsequently form the basis resolving some delicate issues relating to the control of the situation in the Security Zone," noted Pridnestrovie's JCC co-chair Oleg Belyakov, adding that unfortunately no concrete results had been achieved. In particular, the ОСС members failed to sign August reports on the situation in the Security Zone. The main reason is the Moldovan delegation's discontent with the participation of the Cossacks and border guards in memorial events in the enhanced security regime area. Therefore, ahead of Bendery's City Day Belyakov called upon the Moldovan colleagues to show understanding about the holding of such ceremonies, which could affect the deterioration of the situation in the Security Zone.

However, according to the military reports, the situation along the separation line remains stable and controlled. "In other words, all the tasks set before the JCC are fulfilled in full," explained Oleg Belyakov.

The meeting also approved the appointment of a new Moldovan military observer, Ivan Moraru.
