Tiraspol, 5 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. GUP Republican Information Processing Centre, which was established four years ago, employs 41 operators and 19 managers.
According to the company's head, Igor Rodionov, the centre provides support to consumers of energy supply and utility services. It is also responsible maintains and processes information for the operation of bank and mail payment systems across the country based on an up-to-date database of utility services consumers, the government's press service reports.
«We have developed a hardware and software complex that combines accounts of power supply organisations and has the potential to introduce innovations which we require to further enhance our services. We also ensure bank operations, update the single address nomenclature of Pridnestrovian settlements," said Rodionov.
Each settlement, at the same time, has a «one-stop help desk» designed to serve public utility consumers.
«We are requested by the authorities to proved prompt information on the age composition of the population, its number, etc.," said the director. The total number of client accounts of power supply organisations maintained by the centre exceeds one million.
The company plans to buy a separate building at their own expense and get some more enterprises join its system.
