Russian Federation offers to elaborate an implementation mechanism for agreements reached within the 5+2 format

The Russia's Permanent Representative to the OSCE: "Consistent and indisputable implementation of all coordinated compromises would provide more trust between the sides"

Tiraspol, March 31. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The majority of agreements of the Berlin Protocol still remain just on paper. It was voiced by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the organization Alexander Lukashevitch at the Constant OSCE Meeting in Vienna.

In his opinion, the implementation mechanism for the agreements reached within the 5+2 format would increase discipline of realization of the agreed decisions. In this context, the diplomat offered to return to reviewing of the relevant draft agreement submitted by the Russian delegation at the Berlin meeting last year.

«Сonsistent and indisputable implementation of all coordinated compromises would provide more trust between the sides and inspire future negotiations to be effective, including the planned round in Vienna with a new offered package of trust measures. We are ready to help the sides in achievement of mutually acceptable agreements on particular issues," Lukashevich noted.
