Tiraspol, 24 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie will not apply such methods of obtaining funds as issue of money, the president said during his 100-days-in-power press conference. He underscored that «no one is going to launch a printing press» as this will lead to extremely negative economic phenomena.

«Launching such a mechanism as a printing press in our circumstances is probably unacceptable. This will simply create grounds for inflation, and nothing good will come out of it. Some 500 million roubles were illegally issued last year. This, of course, did not bring any optimism to our country's financial and banking systems. Money did not come from the economy but from the printing press," said the president.

Vadim Krasnoselsky assured the audience that pensions and salaries in the public sector would be paid on time and in full. This would also involve the funds that had been raised as a result of a particular revision of state spending.

«Thanks to the optimisation of expenditures, thanks to the set of programmes adopted by the government, we have already managed to return millions of dollars to the economy, including through the elimination of grey schemes. So, I see our vector in openness and transparency," noted the president.
