Tiraspol, July 1. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. As MFA Press Serviece reports, yesterday, June 30 2016, on the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side the Kishinev OSCE Mission office hosted a meeting of the expert (working) groups on the development of transport and road facilities.

In accordance with the agreements laid down in the Protocol of the «Permanent Conference…” signed on June 3 in Berlin, the two sides discussed in detail the issue of participation of the vehicles registered in Pridnestrovie in the international traffic.

The Moldavian side set forth a number of preconditions, which, in fact, blocked the progress of the parties towards the final mutually acceptable solution at this stage. In this context collective decision was made that the leaders of the groups would hold some additional internal consultations with political representatives of the parties and organize the next meeting of experts today, July 1, in Tiraspol.

However, the meeting planned for today did not take place since the Moldovan side refused.

The Pridnestrovian side expects that the dialogue of the field experts will continue in the coming weeks within the framework of approaches agreed at the 5+2 level.
