Tiraspol, June 21. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie's National Payment System will include all commercial banks of the republic sooner or later. Chief corporate banking officer of the Eximbank Victor Dobrov declared it in conversation with journalists.
«It is a matter of time for all banks to understand advantages and arrive at an idea to connect to a common network," the banker noted.
According to him, it wasn't done in the first year because the development of the system only begins and not all banks were ready to it technically. However eventually, according to Dobrov's estimates, the number of the NPS cards will exceed the number of the payment cards used in internal local projects of banks such as Raduga of the Agroprombank and Moya karta of the Ipotechniy bank. And, accordingly, it will be more economically advantageous for these credit organizations to enter the uniform payment system, than to develop own isolated projects.
It's important to remind that at the moment card projects of the Ipotechniy bank, the Sberbank and the Eximbank are integrated into the NPS. The Agroprombank with the largest network of the payment cards in Pridnestrovie hasn't joined the project yet.
