Tiraspol, May 31. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Uniform of the Pridnestrovian customs officers was shown at the annual specialized international exhibition Northwest Customs-2016 in St. Petersburg. Its organizer is the Northwest customs office of the Russian FCS, the press service of the Pridnestrovie's State Customs Committee reports.
Historically, this event is an international platform for discussion of topical issues in the field of customs administration, for demonstration of the recent developments and modern technologies in the field of customs affairs and also for organization of the direct dialogue between customs and business.
According to the organizers, customs services of the Russian Federation, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, leading representatives of the business community of the region, non-governmental organizations participated in the exhibition.
The program included the presentation of showpieces, performance of the Customs Special Force and its naval and air units and also the international conference on the topic: «Topical Issues of Foreign Economic Activity».
«The Pridnestrovie's customs uniform, and also the decorations and the samples of departmental awards of customs authorities of the PMR were exhibited at such a high level for the first time. They were shown by the students — the Pridnestrovians placed for training by the Pridnestrovie's State customs committee», — it was reported in the department.
After the exhibition, the Pridnestrovie's customs uniform will be a part of the exposition in the museum of the St. Petersburg branch of the Russian Customs Academy of the FCS.
