Tiraspol, 8 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The praesidium of the Pridnestrovian government discussed today the question of taking a loan for the repayment of indebtedness to public sector employees.
According to the head of the government, Pavel Prokudin, the government has requested the Russian Federation to provide monetary funds for the liquidation of public sector arrears.
«Today Russia is considering this request, and there is a better chance that the assistance will be provided," noted Pavel Prokudin.
Another source of loan may be the Sheriff company. The government has expressed agreement in principle to accept this offer, but as was emphasised at the meeting, that there are questions as for the loan maturity and foreign exchange difference which may arise at the period of loan repayment.
