Government plans to make regular visit to Russia for solving pressing issues

This is what the head of the government said commenting on the results of the visit of the governmental delegation to Moscow

Tiraspol, 29 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Last week Pridnestrovis'e premier, finance and economic minsters concluded a working visit to the Russian Federation.

Commenting the results of the visit at today's government meeting, Pavel Prokudin noted that its principal goal was to make bilateral decisions in connection with a decline of the Pridnestrovian exports, caused, among other things, by the devaluation of the Russian rouble.

«In general, our exports have considerably dropped over the past year. Therefore, it was imperative to make decisions in this regard. The Russian Federation has heard us. The government had worked in this direction for several months. Some incentives have been identified as a result of our visit that will help our exporters feel better in the Russian market," said Pavel Prokudin, adding that substantive results will be discernible by the end of the next week.

According to the prime minister, representatives of Russia's biggest food forum «Food City» are coming to Pridnestrovie this week to discuss the opening of a pavilion «Pridnestrovie» featuring the whole range of our products.

«The customs have also worked fruitfully. I think we'll have no problems now in identifying our goods at the Russian customs. We hope the last year's situation when apples of unknown origin were sold in the Russian market will not recur. Such situations will be excluded in the future," underscored Pavel Prokudin.

The prime minister noted that melioration issues had also been discussed in Moscow.

«I think we'll be doing our best this year to make such visits to Russia more regular," concluded Pavel Prokudin.
