Moldavan delegation arranges provocation at JCC session

According to the Pridnestrovie's party, the incident complicates further work of the institutional body

Bendery, 18 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today's meeting of the Joint Control Commission was undermined by the Moldavan side. In defiance of the JCC regulations, Kishinev representatives refused to officially represent an outsider accompanying them at the session. And what is more, they simply ignored the legitimate demands to explain who this person was to the Russian and Pridnestrovian sides.

The members of the Pridnestrovie's delegation consider that this incident was caused by unwillingness of the Moldavan party to discuss the issue concerning the freedom of movement in the Security Zone which had been one of the main demands of the official Kishinev more than a year.

«We are beginning to think that the Moldavan party doesn't want to discuss this question any more, but makes provocative actions. They bring a stranger with them and seat him with the Moldavan delegation. Today's incident complicates further work of the JCC," the member of the Pridnestrovie's delegation in JCC Vasily Vakarchuk emphasized.

When a decision to postpone the session was made, the Kishinev representatives voiced an occupation of the incognito after all; he was a new commissioner of the Bendery Police Department.
