Tiraspol, 18 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In order to support domestic manufacturers under the existing macroeconomic instability and negative influence of external factors, the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank (PRB) brings the following information to the notice of the legal entities getting profits in foreign currencies.
Pursuant to Regulation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Bank No. 76-П of 19 June 2007 «On procedure of holding currency auctions of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Bank» (hereinafter Regulation No.76-П), legal entities (residents of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic) may participate in currency auctions held by the PRB through authorised banks. Hence, foreign currency can be sold at currency auctions of the PRB.
In compliance with Regulation No.76-П, Article 18, the official exchange rate as of the date of the auction is accepted as the opening rate of foreign currency to the Pridnestrovian rouble.
Official exchange rates are published by the PRB on its official website on the day preceding the date of the currency auction.
