Next Supreme Council plenary session to take place on 20 January

Tiraspol, 12 January. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Following the decision made by the Supreme Council presidium, the next plenary session will take place on 20 January.

A bill on 2016 budget will pass its first reading at the first session in 2016. This document was approved by the government on 10 December. According to the approved draft, the budget will be deficient but socially oriented. The revenues are estimated at 2.3 billion roubles, whereas the expenditures are estimated at 4.7 billion. However, the budget provides for a 3% indexation of salaries in January and for another 2% in July. The average pension rate is expected to rise by 4%. The 2016 inflation rate is forecast at 2%.

At the following session MPs will consider among others amendments to the law On the Constitution Court of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, draft Guidelines for the Consistent State Monetary Policy, a bill On amending the law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic On personal income tax, and other draft laws.

The presidium decided to send an anti-crisis package aimed at stabilising the economic situation to the dedicated committee for revision.
