Tiraspol, November 30. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. MMA World Cup passed from November 21 to November 22 in Bucharest (Romania). More than 500 fighters of different martial arts from Italy, Great Britain, Poland, Bulgaria, Pakistan, Russia, Tunisia, Macedonia, Romania, Ukraine, Moldova and Pridnestrovie took part in the competitions.
In the World Cup, our republic was represented by fighters from the Martial Arts Club of Rybnitsa: Master of Sports of International Class in hand-to-hand fight Marat Sedykh and first-class fighter in hand-to-hand fight Marín Vetrila.
Marat Sedykh acted according to K-1 freestyle among professionals above 19 years old in weight class below 70 kg. Pridnestrovie's athlete won twice decisively, and it provided him with a champion belt among professionals, the press service of the Sports Civil Service reports.
Marín Vetrila acted according to K-1 freestyle classic light in age group below 15 years old in weight class below 60 kg. According to an unanimous decision of judges, the athlete has won the first place after three fights.
