Moldovan delegation continues to block regular work of Joint Control Commission

This week, once again the sides couldn't adopt a decision on organizational issue that is to confirm in office a new member of governing body of peacekeeping operation from the Russian Federation.

The Moldovan side refused to confirm candidate proposed by the Russian delegation. Pridnestrovie's representatives become concerned about this fact.

«It should be noted that such line of representatives of the Moldovan delegation was unjustified. They have no serious grounds to reject the appointment of the Russian Federation's representative. Perhaps, it is connected with some political or other moments, but anyway these moments are out of JCC's jurisdiction area," the member of Pridnestrovie's delegation in JCC Vasily Vakarchuk noted in conversation with our reporter.

The session of the Joint Control Commission was put back until next week.
