«Previously, construction of embankments on Dniester, the river overflowed to considerable areas. There are fishes which lay spawns in spates. Now, to save some species of fish, we will create similar conditions," the head of the Environmental Department of the Agriculture and Nature Ministry Igor Popov told to our reporter.
He noted that it had been planned to build 2 flood-gates near the Korotnoye village in the Slobodzeya area by the end of the year, and fish will be released to the spawning grounds in 2016.
