During four days, more than 1500 athletes competed in Montemor-o-Velho, the press office of the Sport State Service reports. As a part of Russian national team, Pridnestrovians Oleg Shurinkin, Vladislav Oleynikov and Vladislav Chebotar went to the World Championship.
Vladislav Chebotar reached the top score among the Pridnestrovie's rowers in the Russian national team and won a silver medal in junior singles at the 1000 m distance. Oleg Shurinkin also succeeded. He won a bronze medal at 500 m distance within four-oar crew. Vladislav Oleynikov took the 7th place in junior singles at the 200 m distance.
Russian national team took the 5th in the competition place according to the team scoring.
