The best practices and educational programs of the participating universities were discussed within the forum, it is reported on the PSU website. Also, the congress participants talked about the education improvement and discussed the scientific solutions in the fight against poverty.
As the PSU International Relations Department emphasized, participation in such a big event is a good opportunity for a higher education institution to announce itself to the European scientific community. It is also an opportunity to study the European universities' experience in switching to a three-stage education system. Also, close cooperation for implementation of educational and scientific projects can be established, summer schools and language programs can be created there.
The European Universities Network has functioned since 2012. Its purpose is to implement the poverty reduction program and to promote the concept of the universities' social responsibility and the human rights protection concept. More than 80 European higher education institutions are are in the network, including Lomonosov Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University.
