Yevgeny Shevchuk met with Dmitry Rogozin in the capital of the Russian Federation

The meeting was held within a working visit of the Pridnestrovie's President to Moscow

The President Yevgeny Shevchuk and the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia — Russian President's envoy for Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin discussed some issues concerning the increasing economic risks for Pridnestrovie caused by the overall regional economic instability and extra artificial factors blocking the Pridnestrovie's economic potential.

It was emphasized at the meeting: «Actions creating the conditions for poverty expansion counter the constructive search of mutually advantageous decisions for sides of a conflict within the negotiations. In addition to that, extra pressure exerted on the Pridnestrovie's economy both by Ukraine and Moldova increase the risks of destabilization that contravene the preservation of stability," the Presidential Press Service reports.

Exchanging the ideas, Dmitry Rogozin emphasized that it is necessary to refuse from aggressive rhetoric and unilateral unfriendly actions and to stop creating artificial barriers in order to organize proper negotiation platform.

«The faster all of us pass on the constructive decisions, the more positive results people living on both banks of the Dniester will see," it was noted during a meeting.

At the meeting, they also talked about social infrastructure aggravated by the current economic conditions and also about problems of the Russian Federation citizens and compatriots living in Pridnestrovie.

Alongside with that, they raised some issues concerning the implementation of the Russian humanitarian projects in Pridnestrovie.
