Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University (PSU) hosts the final stage of the contest «Programme for Pridnestrovie's Socio-economic Development for 2016−2021.»
Among those who participate in today's commission meeting are the Pridnestrovian president, Yevgeniy Shevchuk, the chairman of the Supreme Council, Mikhail Burla, the first deputy chairwoman of the government, Maya Parnas, heads of municipal and regional state administrations, ministries and agencies, PSU representatives.
The five participants will present their projects: Viktor Belchenko, Igor Pavlinov, a PSU researcher, Valentin Ostanin, Irina Didenko, head of a group of Economic Department students, and Dniil DZerzhko. Their programmes have been admitted following the approval of Ministry of Economic Development experts.
It is to be recalled that 28 applications were submitted for the contest, and only 18 participants presented their projects, five of which have been approved. Last Friday all the participants who presented the projects were awarded with certificates.
According to the contest rules, the best project for Pridnestrovie's socio-economic development for the nearest five years will receive the prize of 500,000 roubles.
