Evgeny Shevchuk tested the operational readiness of the Pridnestrvoie's military Special Forces detachment according to the training plan, the President's Press Office reports.
Military personnel were suddenly alerted, and they proved their capability in carrying out military tasks.
«The training standards were perfectly fulfilled. This military unit has highest morale. All troops are ready to attain any task," the Commander-in-chief of the Pridnestrovie's Armed Forces noted.
«All of us want peace. Pridnestrovie relies on forming of good-neighborhood and peace-loving foreign policy. As I often say, we are not going to attack anybody," the President emphasized. «At the same time, due to the risks existing today, we have to continue military training in order that no one had any desire to attack Pridnestrovie and to endanger lives and health of the Pridnestrovie's citizens».
Evgeny Shevchuk inspected the barracks and gave a number of instructions on the living conditions improvement.
