Pridnestrovie faces serious and aggressive challenges caused by the situation in Moldova and Ukraine

The Deputy Prime Minister on the International Cooperation - the Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski told about it during the roundtable in the Foreign Affairs Ministry today

The foreign policy department's staff, the representatives of the civic organizations, of the State Customs Committee, of the Economic Development Ministry and of the Pridnestrovie's Republican Bank took part in the event.

The parties plan to elaborate the common offers in organizing the dialogue with the diplomats and foreign partners and to achieve high results in this work and in the economic situation inside the state.

The foreign policy department's head reminded that the Pridnestrovie's President had voiced his Message to the people yesterday. It mostly concerned the economic problems connected closely with the problems of the foreign policy."

"Everything that occurs in Moldova and Ukraine are the serious challenges, serious and aggressive. We work with our partners closely. The new draft of the protocol resolution concerning the removal of all mutual trade restrictions was prepared on February. It is some kind of a complex document including all of our early offers. We hope that our dialogue with Moldova will acquire new momentum, after all. The document was also seriously improved taking into account the today's shipping logistics issues and the questions which could be solved more efficiently, in our view. Being in a quite difficult situation, both Pridnestrovie's and Moldova's economic agents would surely benefit from the fresh decisions on this matter," Nina Shtanski emphasized.

What concerns the relations with Ukraine, the Pridnestrovie's party plans to raise a question concerning the necessity of returning to the trade and economic activity mode existed before 2006, and also the question concerning the activization and revision of the agreements with Ukraine.

All the offers submitted during the roundtable will provide the basis for the so-called dialogue roadmap between the Foreign Affairs Ministry and its foreign policy partners.
